DETAILS This is a 5-week term of 1-hour weekly outdoor group classes for dogs of mixed ages and abilities, from 6 months old (at the start of the course). WHAT WE COVER In this class, we cover a range of training exercises, from the more basic for those just starting out to the slightly more advanced, for those who already have a handle on doggy life. Rest assured, however, ALL dogs can participate in all elements of the class – we just alter our exercises based on your dog's level. Plus, we throw in some brilliant tricks and games to really help grow that amazing bond between you and your dog. Here are just a few of the things we cover: - Recall - how to develop your dog's recall and 'proof' it, with distractions - Loose Lead Walking - developing and honing your dog's lead manners - Using 'Markers' a.k.a "Place" or "Settle" to a mat - making this work for you... and fun for your dog! - The Emergency Stop and other extra control exercises for real-life situations! - "Go Round", Walkback and other handy trick exercises - Tunnels, jumps, and other intro exercises that can lead you into agility and other fun activities! - Bonding Games and Tricks LOCATION 1st New Malden Scout Group HQ Event Field, Tadworth Ave, New Malden KT3 6DJ Our class is held in the FIELD/GARDEN to the REAR of the Scout Hall. Although the site has a private car park, children's dance classes are held in the hall while our class is being held outside, so course members are requested to please park in surrounding residential roads where possible to keep the car park free for scout and dance class traffic, who have priority. Please see the full Puppy Class Terms and Conditions for further details.
